Meeting between BAG and Bryan Rose on 9th May 2023.

Topics discussed were:

A firm commitment that the shops, park and walkway are definitely on the cards ( D.A. for shops/park should be in to council in about 8 to 10 weeks).

Hotel as yet is undecided (work in progress).

Park looks like being placed down in original position (council stipulations are relevant to position and equipment).

Greenspace with benches and an area to kick-a-ball is planned around the shop area (Montifiore Parkway).

Pipeline to Gwandalan (section at Beaches) is completed. When hook-up to other pipeline is finished the infrastructure lot (currently filled with water) at western end of Rockpool will no longer be needed by Solo operations and a use for it will be decided on by Rose Corp.

We requested that it be filled in and used for a park at the western end of the estate, our request was “taken-on-board”.

Land sales for stage 3B are starting soon so the sales office will be open again.

Changing the northern end of Breakers be made into 2-way so as to make it into an easier exit for the estate was bought up, we were informed that the traffic control section at council would need to be contacted for anything to happen to the roads.

Discussions re the donation of the work shed at cnr of Clarke and Montefiore as a “mens shed” when the civil works are completed are still underway (Bryan Rose has been a part of these talks re donating this since our first meeting with Rose Corp).  Again there are a few hoops to jump through with council.

It was again reiterated with Bryan that the need for community consultation is to be forthcoming.

More information regarding this will be posted within the next few weeks.
