In this quiet little suburb of Moonee just south of Catherine Hill Bay, lies the Beaches Estate.
With friendly and a warm-hearted community this Estate is nestled between Munmorah National Park and two beaches. Catherine Hill Bay beach, which is patrolled, and family orientated, the other is Moonee beach, which is a bit more secluded with perfect waves for surfing or to cast a line out to catch fish for dinner.
You can walk along the beach greeting your neighbours as you head to Flat Rock Island where it is the perfect spot to view whales breaching or just frolicking on top of the water.
A bit further past flat Rock is Ghosties beach with a walk-in cave at the end.

Beaches Estate, Moonee, Catherine Hill Bay, is a dream place to live with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Believe it or not rainbows also frequent this place and I think it is because it is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Our House
Our house is only five years old and was built by Hontondo Homes of Gateshead, a local family-owned business and it was nominated for the Housing Industry Awards (HIA).
Our house was designed with all modern and convenient accessories, such as soft close draws, cupboards and even toilet seats. We chose a colour of the walls that would enhance the coolness of summer and the warmth of winter, the design includes strategic placement of doors and windows that would make the most of the cross breezes that keeps the house perfectly cool even on the hottest of days without the use of an air conditioner.
The curtains are made of a delightful material which is 99% block out, these curtains not only keep the light out if you need to sleep during the day but also the heat and the cold.
This four (4) bedroom house has three bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs, we use the front bedroom as an office, which is great for those who want to work from home. The master bedroom has plenty of space with a beautiful ensuite boasting double vanity bowls, along with a separate walk-in robe. Outside and just off the master bedroom is quiet secluded place which overlooks a Balinese Secret Garden, full of ambience and seclusion from the outside world. A perfect place for Meditation.
Go up the french polished staircase which leads to the fourth bedroom boasting its very own powder room. We use this room as retreat area. Often sitting out on the balcony collecting the cool afternoon breeze, overlooking the ocean with a chilled glass of local Hunter Valley wine, just waiting to watch the moon rise over the water.
Outside there is a very large entertainment deck which continues through the back yard to an observation deck. Here you can view sail boats cruising by and watch whales breaching and frolicking during their migration seasons. This deck is the place to be! It is just like our own private resort, where we have had many a breakfast or dined on local seafood, like Lobster, Balmain Bugs, Blue Swimmer Crabs, fresh local School Prawns and not to forget the Oysters.
There is a big back yard, big enough for the kids and pets to play in, or even big enough to put in a swimming pool or a Granny Flat.
Gosh I don't feel like selling now after I just read what I have written, but alas, we need to downsize, so if you are looking for a home with a lifestyle or as an investment.
This is the perfect place to live your dream.
