It would appear that during all our discussions with Rose that we felt we were not being told the truth or the full story behind the shops. Now with this information we can safely say that our intuition was correct, however, in answer 8 Bryan Rose indicates that he may have a problem with the community letting him have the 5-star hotel (A8. Bryan said “yes, but if people get the shop they won’t go for hotel”.
It also appears that LMCC and Rose Group are planning to go ahead with the 5-star hotel regardless, and maybe it would be a good thing for our area to bring in tourist dollars and have a place to take our family and friends locally.
If this is the case, then we want to make sure that it fits into and complies with all the other buildings and that the shops and park (including toilet facilities) will be the prime objective to be built first, as a gesture of good will.
