2020 Canberra Reunion

A fifty year reunion 1970 - 2020

Lets face it, fifty years is a long time, and in some cases, thats how long it has been since some of us have seen each other, after joining the navy at the age of fifteen.

In July 1970, about 200 young fifteen year olds arrived at HMAS Leeuwin and became, Collins and Walton divisions of the 32nd Intake, in Freemantle, Western Australia.

Fifty years on, we have celabrated our reunion in Canberra, unfortunatley, due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we didnt get as many participants as we would have liked to attend. Although, those who did attened, had a really great time, along with partners and friends, a three day reunion held at the Alivio Tourist Park, was well worth the visit, with no problems what so ever.

Many thanks to Don McGrath and Shayne McLennan for putting in many hours of searching and organising this reunion.
